Portable air conditioners can provide spot cooling or heating option if you know how to use them correctly. Commercial Cool by Haier portable air conditioners have casters and can be rolled from room to room but to work properly, they must be vented through a window. The quick-mount window kit, which is included, makes it easy to vent the portable air conditioner through double-hung or sliding window. Portable air conditioners are available in cool only or heat/cool, for supplemental heat.
